Great Learning Opportunities Offered at the Egyptian Italian Critical Care Symposium – 29 December , 2022

Dear colleagues:
ECCCP invites you to participate in the Second Egyptian Italian Critical Care Symposium scheduled on 29 December, 2022 at LRC -Kasr Al Ainy.
The symposium offers several learning opportunities which are:
1- Learn from our Italian faculty who are presenting the following lectures:
- Regional Ventilation/ Perfusion ratio and VILI, Professor Antonio Pesenti.
- Mechanical Ventilation in Obesity, Professor Lorenzo Berra
- Precision Medicine in ARDS, Professor Maurizio Cereda, MD
2-Adding to the Italian contribution to the symposium program, we will also review lectures from our colleagues from USA ; Dr Hess, Dr Kallet and Dr La Vita who are presenting their experiences in COVID-19 management;
- Non Invasive respiratory support for COVID, Dr Dean Hess, MGH , Harvard , USA
- Invasive respiratory support for COVID, Dr Richard Kallet, UCSF
- The role of prone position for COVID; awake non-intubated and intubated, Dr Carolyn La Vita , MGH , Harvard , USA
3- Finally, you can participate in an internationally recognized Mechanical Ventilation Course ” Essentials of Mechanical Ventilation” which has received accreditation from the American Association of Respiratory Care (AARC)
The course is scheduled on 23 and 24 December, 2022 at Learning Resource Center, Kasr Al Ainy and is limited to 20 participants.
